Introduction
Welcome to the Cavalier Turbo Owners Register or CTOR for short. The CTOR Forums provide a comfortable place for Cavalier Turbo owners to meet and interact online.
Setting Up Your Account
If you are reading this you have probably just registered a new account. Please ensure it is only you who uses this account, anyone found to be sharing their account will have it suspended without warning. Make sure that you have filled out the location field, you can do this by clicking here. If you are from the UK enter your city/area followed by your county (e.g. Exeter, Devon). If you're not from the UK enter your city/area followed by your country (e.g. Dortmund, Germany).
Signatures & Avatars
Your personal signature must meet the following requirements, if it doesn't it may be subject to removal without warning.
As a user of the CTOR forums you will be granted access to the sites Private Messaging (PM for short) system. This enables you to contact other CTOR members in private. Abuse of the PM system will not be tolerated and will result your account being suspended.
Site Moderation
Due to the nature of the internet the CTOR Leadership Team have a duty of care to ensure that the content of the forums present a decent and welcoming atmosphere to both new and current members. On the rare occasion that this is not the case it is a Moderators job to step in and address the balance.
What Is A Moderator?
Moderators are members of the CTOR community who have been hand-picked to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the CTOR Forums. Where necessary they will edit/move/delete threads to ensure the short and long term good of CTOR is protected. If your thread is moderated don't assume it is a personal attack on you, your thread or post will always have been moderated to protect the better good of the CTOR.
The editing of posts is always visible to the community, the edit time/date/author is always shown within the message following moderation. Where possible the Moderators will also leave a reason for the edit, although understand that due to time constraints this isn't always possible.
When Will My Thread Or Post Be Edited Or Deleted?
Your thread or post will be subject to moderation if it is found to contain the following:

When Will My Thread Be Moved?
A commercial post is defined as any post by employees or their associates that benefits either, directly or indirectly the company involved. This includes any company press releases, statements or advertising of practices of any kind. Please keep these in the appropriate forum.
Racism
Racist comments are not tolerated on CTOR. No matter how innocent the comment may have been intended it can easily be misconstrued through the black and white text medium of the forum. Repeat posting of racist comments will result in a ban and potentially more serious action.
Warn Meter
Below your username is a 'Warn Meter' which only you and the CTOR Administrators/Moderators can see. If you flout the rules laid out above you may be subject to a warning. If you receive three warnings you will receive an automatic 7 day ban. Warnings may be removed following the demonstration of reformed behaviour. Don't let this scare you however, only in the most extreme cases is it necessary to warn someone.
Finally and above all else, treat others how you would wish to be treated and enjoy your time on CTOR.

- No images in signature, text only
- Small font and not longer than a few lines
- 100x100 pixels max image size
- Must not be offensive to anyone (political, racist etc)

- A flagrant disregard for the interests of the community (anti-community spirit)
- Pornography, links to pornography or links to other inappropriate sites
- Incitement to a flame war within this or any other forum
- Any sort of pyramid selling or referral schemes
- The advertising and sale of illegal bootleg material (such as copied DVDs, VCDs and computer software)
- Xenophobia, racism or personal abuse
- Spam or any other form of unauthorised advertising
- Anything invasive of a person's privacy

When Will My Thread Be Moved?
- When the thread clearly belongs in another forum
- When the topic moves onto a subject more appropriate to another forum
